Idetail in late 2013, completed shop drawings for the new Visitors Center for the Christchurch Botanical Gardens, being constructed for the Christchurch City Council by Leigh's Construction. This project was first proposed in 2009, with construction being delayed by the Canterbury earthquakes in September 2010 and February 2011. This caused the design to be changed to ensure it complied with the revised building code, mainly affecting the steel structural elements and the foundations.

This structure features large glasshouses, a café, a hub for meetings, offices, a herbarium and a library. The roof is a sloping saw tooth design being approximately 60 tonnes of Steel.

Tekla BimSight was used extensively to co-ordinate the different trades involved, Architect, Engineer, Glazer and Tilt Panel supplier, with the Tekla model being used as the basis for all of these trades to work from, to ensure everything fitted perfectly on site.
