This electrical substation built in Kelvin Grove, Australia is a combination steel/tilt slab structure. We were able to coordinate with the tilt slab Detailer via a 3D DWG export from Tekla. This allowed for 100% accuracy in the matching of connections and allowed the tilt slab Detailer to start later in the project but more quickly complete his drawings.

The structure itself was a bit more architectural than most industrial builings, with SHS profiles creating a louvered wall look and small box trusses creating a false roof. Although architectural in appearance they increased the cooling of the radiators in this area.
